Leadership Development: Priority Targets

These targets were set on 7 DEC 2024 on the Needs Analysis Workshop. These targets will be followed up.

1. Strategic Direction and Policy Environment

  1. Explore the programme requirement and government policies of HK Curriculum. 

  2. Inquire the educational trends worldwide, in China & HK.

  3. Understand the strengths and weaknesses of myself as a school leader in different school settings.

2. Teaching, Learning and Curriculum

  1. Understand the characteristics and career pathway of different programmes/ educational systems.

  2. Explore different pedagogies adopted from different educational systems.

  3. Explore the application of whole-person development inside and outside classroom.

3. Leader and Teacher Growth and Development

  1. Advocate, create, build and maintain an active learning community and the culture of collaboration.

  2. Explore the strategic planning for teachers', parents' and students' wellbeing.

  3. Distinguish the differences between boss, leader & manager.
